Simon was called out to rescue a badger cub in a critical condition. She was found under a tree, freezing cold, barely clinging on to life and with no detectable heartbeat.
She was rushed back to the hospital, where our vet, Cristina, pulled out all the stops trying to bring her back from the brink of death. Cristina quickly attached a drip and began starting to heat her up; very slowly, the tiny cub begun to show signs of life.
The cub remains in critical condition and it will be at least 72 hours before we get any indication of the chances of her recovery. She has already had a great deal of costly treatment and we desperately need your help to keep her going.
