Rider's Rescues
A Voice For Animals
For broadcast in 2023 on PBS
This is a special V/O casting session for friends of Rider.

We are looking for volunteer voices for more than 30 recurring animal and animated characters for this 30 minute weekly series slated for a national PBS broadcast beginning in 2023.

Include in your demo package back to us, the items below as well as your most recent character / narration demo if you have one. A listing of all your social media links doesn't hurt either.

Find the characters you are interested in voicing by reviewng the export canvas character - 220411 pdf below. Then using one of the scripts below, record at least a few lines - up to a half page of dialogue as that character. This first group of V/O partners will need to be able to "ACT" as well. Like, really act.

Go to one of the scripts, find that character, and then record at least 3 lines of dialogue of that character. You have been given early draft of a couple episodes to choose from. Rider thought it particularly a good idea to include the "Gifts" episode. Remember to say the episode name in character before reading from that script. Once you've recoreded your demo, send it to the Producers using the button below to initiate an email.

All animal characters are available,. The caracter of Rider, Emerson and other family members are already cast. Even though Rider currently voices Moosey and Mouse and Dallas all those animals are looking for a regular distinct voice.

There will be many other opportunities to voice story inserts and other components of Rider's Rescues, however, if you have animal voices in you, this is the time to exercise them. If you can voice more than one character please, submit a demo for each character.
