This is hope for paws in action. This puppy gave this mama dog the perfect Mother's Day gift!  A new life with a new home. And all she did was get them the attention they needed at the right moment as the WA2S Films team was riding by. That's when the Detroit Dog Saviors went to work!

As a member of the Detroit Dog Saviors' all volunteer animal rescue coalition, DAWG - Detroit Animal Welfare Group responded to a call from the World Animal Awareness Society's Tom McPhee that a puppy and mama dog were spotted in an abandoned house on Detroit's NW side while conducting and American Strays K9 survey.
