On this episode of Operation Houston #StrayDogCity we embed with rescue teams working with Forgotten Dogs Of The Fifth Ward Project as they are sweeping the streets for stray dogs after Hurricane Harvey.

We follow Alicia Mccarty as she picks up a starving and emaciated mama dog in bad shape, and bring her back to the temporary base camp they have set up where we also hear from Tom Davis.

Most of the dogs collected during a weeks worth of sweeps - nearly a hundred dogs, were taken to either Best Friends Animal Society or Houston Pets Alive's temporary facilities in Houston put in place immediately after Hurricane Harvey.
