Heroes Help Houston Hounds Hammered By Hurricane Harvey

Three weeks after Hurricane Harvey hammered Houston, thousands of volunteers from all over North America formed hundreds of partnerships to help the hounds of Houston.

Jemelle and Bobby Baker help transport rescued street dogs from Texas to new homes in up state New York, including Rochester.

After a dozen years and more than 700 dogs transported, the power couple behind Superior Chrome Plating put out the word to friends in the greater Rochester area who responded with many truck-loads worth of supplies for peoples and animals in need in the affected areas.
