On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake disaster, and the World Animal Awareness Society documenting animal rescuers saving abandoned dogs and cats and the heroes reaching out to the people of Fukushima.
Our thoughts and are with all those affected by the disaster, both in Tōhoku and around the world, today and every day. The first week of May 2011, Tom McPhee (Executive Director of World Animal Awareness Society - WA2S.org) and Lisa Lucas (WA2S.org Member) traveled to post-disaster Japan to document the animal rescue efforts. Currently, donations taken in from this video will go to support our team's return to Japan to capture follow-up animal rescue efforts: http://www.WA2S.org/donate Camera, Producer, Director, Editor: Tom McPhee c. 2011 - 2016 All Rights Reserved World Animal Awareness Society http://www.wa2s.org/WA2S-Films 818.561.5109 LA |
